The Elite are Almost Always on the Wrong Side of History

God puts his enemies in power and gives them a lot of wealth. They are elite. The elite thank God for their wealth and power by raging against Him and the goodness of His created order. Starting in 1619 at Jamestown, the elite owned white and black slaves. In New England starting in 1620, the Puritan elite were on “God’s side” but somehow this resulted in the displacement of all the Eastern tribes and the eventual ethnic cleansing of all Indians in the expanding territory of the United States for the next 250 years. Even when the Indians were given reservations and lands by the government, it was with fingers-crossed. The Elite colluded in post-Civil War era to establish Jim Crow and crush Black economic and civic power. In the first half of the 20th century, they blundered into two world wars. They embraced eugenics. They made policy that whipped everyone off the farms and into the cities. Then in the second half of the 20th century, they got us into Vietnam, made infanticide national policy, put the last nails in the coffin of the family, and made infanticide national policy. Toward the turn of the 20th century they worked on establishing homosexual marriage and, having railroaded that through the Supreme Court despite its defeat in every popular vote, they’re working on normalizing transgenderism and pedophilia. They’ve also brought back slavery in all but name.

For this, they will all answer to God sooner or later. God puts the elite in charge to rule. With great power comes great responsibility and accountability. Most elite fail to call God “Father.” Rather, they answer to their lord and master the Devil. So it was in Jesus’ day, so it is in ours.

What is standard of living?

If you’re Generation Z, you’re probably wondering if you’re going to have the same standard of living as your parents. If you’re a Millennial, for the most part, you know you’re not. Materially, you may even be better-off since the government has pushed more and more debt-backed USD into the economy which has trickled down to you. You may have used it to gain assets like property, notes, or securities. But in the back of your mind, you know the material things are no substitute for what our parents grew up with immediately post-WWII: new infrastructure, community, friendship, strong institutions, and the bonds of citizenship with other Americans. These are things that money simply can’t buy. Our parents also had much-lower costs, particularly in college tuition and health care. Then there was the post-WWII business climate bequeathed to the Boomers by the Silent Generation which practiced a noblesse oblige towards this nation and its families by developing this nation’s technological and industrial base and paying high wages. This, too, has disappeared and can’t be bought nor brought back.

In every other metric besides the economy approximated by the DJIA and the ability to consume Chinese junk, standard of living is already much lower than it was for our parents and even grandparents who lived through both the Great Depression and fought in WWII. This is cultural collapse. The good news is that the elements of standard of living that cannot be bought are also free. You can establish relationships with your neighbors by inviting them over. You can have your kids play out in the street together. You can form small towns of 2-3 extended families on rural properties just like they have in Europe. You can build your own house to your specs for cheap even without ties to the Grid. You can find ways to make money outside the Corporate GloboHomo regime. You can send your kids to Christian school or homeschool them. You can find a good church and attend. You can create your own Benedict Option.

The invisible realm and why you should pray

I’ve been reading Michael Heiser’s excellent The Unseen Realm: Recovering the Supernatural Worldview of the Bible. If you haven’t read this book, stop everything you’re doing and buy it right now. Western Christians used to have this worldview and we need to recover it immediately if we want a new Reformation because it was the worldview of the Reformers and every Christian up until recently. Consider the words of Luther’s A Mighty Fortress is our God, which explain this worldview and our resulting duties succinctly:

A mighty fortress is our God, a bulwark never failing;
Our helper He, amid the flood of mortal ills prevailing:
For still our ancient foe doth seek to work us woe;
His craft and pow’r are great, and, armed with cruel hate,
On earth is not his equal.

Did we in our own strength confide, our striving would be losing,
Were not the right Man on our side, the Man of God’s own choosing:
Dost ask who that may be? Christ Jesus, it is He;
Lord Sabaoth, His Name, from age to age the same,
And He must win the battle.

And though this world, with devils filled, should threaten to undo us,
We will not fear, for God hath willed His truth to triumph through us;
The Prince of Darkness grim, we tremble not for him;
His rage we can endure, for lo, his doom is sure,
One little word shall fell him.

That word above all earthly pow’rs, no thanks to them, abideth;
The Spirit and the gifts are ours through Him Who with us sideth;
Let goods and kindred go, this mortal life also;
The body they may kill: God’s truth abideth still,
His kingdom is forever.

We cannot win battles in the visible realm without winning them in the invisible realm through prayer because we are weak. Christians in the global south understand this. For example, Africans still believe in an invisible realm of angels, demons, devils, and witches. They know the spiritual battle is the more-important one and that the physical battle cannot be won without winning it in the spiritual domain first. This is why God’s Kingdom is growing exponentially there. This doesn’t just apply to evangelism or building the Kingdom, though every action of a Christian towards the glory of God builds the Kingdom. It also applies to daily life or movements of peoples and physical struggles. The American patriots of 1776 understood this. Not only did they have stable families, household economies, and churches, but they also understood the need for victory in the invisible realm through prayer. They proceeded only when they sensed the approval from God. When you have God’s blessing and the Holy Spirit’s help, physical efforts feel easy – like you’re working but making almost no effort. Our first national anthem by William Billings confirms this:

It sounds banal, but pray. Western Christians pray on average only 4 minutes per day. This confirms we don’t even believe in an invisible realm but think the material cosmos is all there is. We’ve been programmed to think this way by our surrounding culture who looks into the universe and sees no God. It should not be so for us. Luther prayed 6-8 hours per day, as did other giants of the faith. James the Lord’s brother prayed so much that his knees developed knobs. Their accomplishments in the physical realm depended entirely on the spiritual battles on their knees. Pray.

Your pretty whitopia is going to hell

CR Wiley gave a talk called “Toxic Matriarchy” at the University of Idaho. It was filled with white students and policed by some PoCs. These kids will grow up and become voters and bureaucrats. People tell me, “Bryce, why don’t you move out of California.” This is why: there is nowhere in America to escape suicidal white Americans, so most spots are as good as the next unless you live in some sort of high-trust mannerbund around family.

Blue Collar Logic on the War Against Men

What happens when you legally and culturally deny men their very masculine nature? Yep, societal breakdown and mass shootings. You can de-couple from all this to a degree: their are alternative schooling options, makerspaces, and small business opportunities to those trying to escape the academic and corporate GloboHomo regime. You have to think differently and be willing to sacrifice. Remember: what you do now matters not only in this world, but in the world to come:

How the Elites Gave Us Same-Sex Marriage

Corporations built diversity-centered human resources departments to spearhead these and other celebrations of cultural diversity. They won approval from the Human Rights Campaign, a gay-rights activist group. These corporations marketed to America an acceptance of homosexuality. Gay was more than OK. Many managers left religion, patriotism, and the pursuit of family life behind. Instead, their lives were given meaning by their devotion to careers celebrating cultural diversity, and celebrating homosexuality is the key expression of that diversity. Homosexuality symbolized, in Paul’s words, “creativity, cosmopolitanism, authenticity, toleration, and the reward of merit.” In homosexuals, America’s corporate, coastal elites found a minority that looked like them: well-educated, creative, successful, white, and safe. According to Paul, and the various studies he cites, this corporate elite actively avoids living near the poor or near ethnic minorities. Celebrating diversity by celebrating homosexuality thus became the way corporate managers lived with what would otherwise have been an astounding cognitive dissonance.

Corporate elite are perhaps the most loathsome people on this planet. If you’re a Christian, you’ll never be one of them so don’t throw your life away trying. Start your own business or several.

The Eucatastrophe

JRR Tolkein uses borrows the motif of eucatastrophe from Scripture. It’s a providential reversal of fortunes for God’s people and against God’s enemies. One of the most obvious is the story of Mordecai and Haman in the book of Esther. The ultimate eucatastrophe is described in 2 Thess 2:1-12, Rev 16:13-16, Rev 17:11 [1], and 20:7-10 where the Man of Sin (and embodied image of the False Prophet) comes to lead government-sponsored persecution of the worldwide church. He and his followers (all unbelievers) will be consumed by Christ’s second coming. A picture of this is given to us in the Old Testament when Pharoah’s army is consumed by flood in pursuit of the Hebrews. This time, however, the destruction will come by fire.

CR Wiley refers to this book by Xenophon in “The Household and the War for the Cosmos.” Family businesses are still run this way today, and will after the corporate GloboHomo era ends. We need to look past corporations for our jobs and figure out how to start our own. This is the only way to escape the wage trap:

Corporations are not going to pay more money to wages slaves in the bottom 3 quintiles. We have to stop being wage-earners and start being proprietors (estate managers).

Abortion Hearing in California and the Two Kingdoms

Remember the videos released by the Center for Medical Progress? The creators are being tried criminally:

When Daleiden and Merritt began releasing their videos, there was public uproar, which was partially responsible for the election of President Trump, as well as the ending of much of Planned Parenthood’s government funding.  These videos clearly capture Planned Parenthood employees breaking federal law, which prohibits the sale of fetal tissue for profit.
But somehow Planned Parenthood workers have never been prosecuted. Instead, the two people responsible for making the videos were charged in state court for violating California’s laws against wire-tapping. This week was their evidentiary hearing—where the State shows their evidence to a judge, to demonstrate they have met a burden of proof to go to trial.
While the trial hasn’t started yet, this whole legal process has proved to be a huge mistake for Planned Parenthood, as it has already produced one insanely embarrassing revelation after another for them.

Pay attention to this case. If Planned Parenthood prevails, it will be a dangerous omen for the pro-life movement. A Planned Parenthood victory would indicate that the highest levels of American government and law enforcement take direction from a political organization, and that they are willing to use law enforcement to stifle opposition. The horrors of the modern abortion industry are possible only because they are covered in darkness. Strangely enough, this hearing is bringing many of them to light.

This is outrageous. Crimes are exposed and those who exposed the crimes are being tried. Does the Bill of Rights mean anything? Darryl Hart quotes HL Mencken to remind us that minorities have never had rights in the United States, which should make us all skeptical of State power generally. It’s also helpful to remember, as Darryl and Jesus remind us, that the Kingdom of God is not of this world but rather within our hearts and is mostly invisible. Even many churches – which are supposed to be visible manifestations of the Kingdom – are “synagogues of Satan.” Earthly governments also belong to Satan’s kingdom. Ours is no different, as the use of State power against the Center for Medical Progress demonstrates. Even Satan answers to God, though, and governments are put on earth to restrain evil (Romans 13). What a mess. It’s good to know this all works out in the end.

Amazon is Dying

Large corporations are a parentheses in human history. They appear during periods of empire and enable rich men to get richer while they hold out the deceitfulness of riches to young, ambitious men. The US empire is both military and economic. The latter – the economic empire – is the more-powerful force established by the threat of the former -the military empire – which peer empires and 4th Generation forces are discovering is a paper tiger. We haven’t defeated any enemies since 1945. The growth of the FAANGs is probably the last gasp of our economic empire and it’s benefited only a small set of people. It has impoverished the rest of us in ways we’re still discovering. Happily, every epoch in human history has a beginning, a middle, and an end.
